Weekend Master Classes

Master classes allow the students a low-stress environment where they can practice the art of performing. With four master classes a year, taking place on two weekends a semester, students will learn to feel more confident in learning how to prepare for performances, performance etiquette, and a community feel where they can feel encouraged by other students. Performance classes allow the student to receive positive feedback and feel ready for recital. These classes are for the students and teacher only and are closed to parents.

Virtual Holiday Performance

To close the first semester, students will record a performance video of their holiday song. All performances are compiled into an Annual Holiday Recital Video that is shared with the studio. Students and families are able to access/view the Annual Holiday Recital on their own time during the holiday season. The Annual Holiday Recital Video is a fun tradition that allows students to gain confidence in their performance abilities through recording/watching their own piece as well as being able to watch their peers/other students in the studio perform.

Annual Spring Recital

A highlight of the piano year, spring recital is a performance in which all students participate and perform a piano/vocal piece. In February, the teacher and student select recital songs based off of their current proficiency in theory and technique. This performance opportunity gives students to demonstrate all they have learned and gain experience performing in front of an audience. Recital is an open performance to all family members and friends.

Additional a la carte lessons are available for supplemental learning in theory, composition, and performance.
